I received an email from Tomika at South LA Shelter a few days ago telling me that Gloria (the sweet oriental-mix mama cat) was super sick and needed out IMMEDIATELY!!!! Her son, who was also very sick w/ mange but still entirely loving, Darrell had been on the Alert List for a few days and was about to be euthanized as well. I couldn't let that happen!!! They are now boarding at Laurel Pet until they are well. Once they are all better we can work on finding them the GREATEST forever home in the world. At this point, boarding and meds are going to be run about $40/day as they need a lot of care to get back into good shape for adoption. Any, any, ANY help would be amazing!!!
Gloria has the sweetest, wisest face...you can tell that she's seen a LOT in her 1 1/2 years and not much of it has been good. But she is SOOOOO sweet!!! She LOVED being petted while we waited for the vet!!! :( I want her to know what it is to be loved!!!! Darrell is a sweet little cutie, too...he has a bobtail...cute!!!
