South Los Angeles NO RESPONSE!! Urgent! Litter of 6 colorful kittens needs out now! Shelter overcrowded!

Per Nelia:

This is one colorful litter of kittens! They all came in on August 2, and that makes them the longest running kittens now. I just spoke to the vet, and she said they are all on meds for URI, but are okay otherwise.

Can anyone rescue this pretty litter? The shelter is again very full, and we know what that means!

Please, please, PLEASE network them in honor of Thorfinn who was who was killed this past weekend due to overcrowding...he was a sweet young 1-year-old tabby boy...miserable in his cage. :( These babies need OUT NOW!!!! Careless and heartless "owners" and those who consider ferals pests that need to be rounded up and exterminated are causing the numbers to balloon!!! Please send this plea to everyone you know!!!

Amorette A1134546 is a beautiful and friendly tabby girl and Abercrombie A1135476 is a playful LITTLE kitty who could pass for a "teenager" any day of the week!!!! Missy A1135517 is a chatty orange dolly who reaches for you from her cage...she just wants to get out!!!! Phineas A1137257 is a really friendly handsome boy who has NOT lost home that he will make it out!!!! Donations Needed for Sweet Mama and Son Kitts!!!

I received an email from Tomika at South LA Shelter a few days ago telling me that Gloria (the sweet oriental-mix mama cat) was super sick and needed out IMMEDIATELY!!!! Her son, who was also very sick w/ mange but still entirely loving, Darrell had been on the Alert List for a few days and was about to be euthanized as well. I couldn't let that happen!!! They are now boarding at Laurel Pet until they are well. Once they are all better we can work on finding them the GREATEST forever home in the world. At this point, boarding and meds are going to be run about $40/day as they need a lot of care to get back into good shape for adoption. Any, any, ANY help would be amazing!!!

Gloria has the sweetest, wisest face...you can tell that she's seen a LOT in her 1 1/2 years and not much of it has been good. But she is SOOOOO sweet!!! She LOVED being petted while we waited for the vet!!! :( I want her to know what it is to be loved!!!! Darrell is a sweet little cutie, too...he has a bobtail...cute!!!

Picalo (A1134275, 5 month old male, with a big bushy tail) put on an acrobatic act in his cage. Upside down contortions and twists caught our eye -- just as he intended. He's a big talker too. When Mindy asked what he wanted, he told her "a home!!!!!." What a bright boy!!! This little kitten has been at the shelter for a month, now in ISO, hidden away -- on meds for URI. The vet at the South LA shelter just called me to let me know that these 3 kittens (littermates) need out of the shelter by tomorrow. They are all sick with upper respiratory infections, and the shelter is once again filling with cats, so the sick ones are the ones they have to euthanize to make space.
They need to be out of the shelter environment and will improve once they are in a less stressful situation.
