I have met this cat several times, and each time he was a joy! He is a big ball of love! Still eating, so no worries about Fatty Liver from being in the shelter. He came down from his perch to see me and then went straight for the food bowl.

Please network this sweet boy far and wide!!!!! The Alert list at South LA doesn't mean much anymore, since they can kill any animal at any time, but this guy has been on that list for one week now. His girlfriend or sister, a 6 yr. old black and white female, is gone from the website, and I haven't had the nerve to ask what happened to her. Many cats have died in the past few weeks. Don't let that be his fate. He is a nice boy, seemingly pampered until he was dumped at the shelter. Can someone save him?

It saddens me to share that George the 90 year old man I have been helping, told me yesterday that he can no longer care for his cats and if I cannot find homes for them, he will have to take them to the pound to be put to sleep. It has been a long three years of my trying to get this house under control.

George and his family have given me 10 days. I was feeling really broken yesterday, but then I look at my sweet Noah who turned 3 today (first rescue ever and from George’s) and everything we went through with him, and how he proved to me that the “good guys” do win sometimes, thus this email…. Fighting until they lock me out.

So here I am again, writing, calling, crying, begging, owing my soul to anyone who can help these cats.

I promise they will bring you good luck.

Save these 6 Kittens in Honor of their Mother

This is a litter of kittens whose mother was a beautiful smoke tortie. She was killed last week without warning (the new New Hope rules make it impossible to know who to network, or who will be euthanized next).

In her honor, could someone please save her kittens? Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of the mom, but her kittens are beautiful also. They have spent almost their whole lives in the shelter. Help them get out and know what a good life is!

Here is the latest Alert list from the South LA shelter. They have had to put down a lot of cats lately, because they have NO ROOM! If anyone can take even one of these, it would help! Some of these are young kittens, Alerted for being hissy, but they are young enough to come around if worked with and not scared out of their minds!
